February 28, 2025 | All application materials due.
March 31, 2025 | Applicants notified. Three (3) Finalists, for each scholarship, invited to interviews.
April 30, 2025 | Finalists interviews completed.
May 31, 2025 | Gibson Scholars selected. All Finalists notified.
Summary of the Application Process
The application consists of several parts, all available at our website:
- The Main Application, to be completed by you online. The Main Application should also include the completed current year FAFSA application form in PDF (with both student and parent steps completed and social security numbers blacked out) or the Student and Parent Confidential Financial Reports.
- The School Report, to be completed by your school counselor (please include a transcript).
- Teacher Reference Forms (2 required), to be completed by your teachers.
Please be sure to send the links for the School Report and Teacher Reference Forms to the people filling them out as early as you can, as there are usually many to be filled out during this time of the year.
The selection process consists of both the application and, for Scholarship finalists, an interview. The interviews are informal and no special preparation on your part is needed.
